Ask for stories, not for features

“Everybody lies” goes the famous Dr. House quote. Obviously not true, in general and specifically when we do open-ended discovery work. But psychological biases are at play when users try to answer the questions we ask them. If we ask about the wrong thing, we get the wrong answers, and we build the wrong features.

In this workshop, we’ll explore the art of story-based interviewing and generating opportunities from them. It will be hands-on, fun, and challenging.
