Oleksandr Kazymyrov is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with a hacker’s mindset and a passion for offensive security. He holds a Ph.D. in cryptography and has over 15 years of experience in information security. As the Security Assurance Manager at Storebrand, Oleksandr leverages his offensive expertise to ensure the company’s security controls are robust and continuously improving. Previously, he built and led Storebrand’s red team program, uncovering critical vulnerabilities and strengthening the organization’s defenses. This unique blend of academic rigor and hands-on offensive experience allows him to bridge the gap between offense and defense, driving a more resilient security posture
